Day of the Dead Virtual Fieldtrip |
| Imagine getting
ready for all of your dead relatives' spirits to come visit you during
the next couple weeks! How would it feel? Scary? Exciting?
Mysterious? Morbid? Interesting?
The Mexican people do not seem to have many of the qualms that others do about death and facing death. As part of their beliefs, they have a yearly celebration to welcome home the spirits of their friends and family who have died and are expected to come back for a visit. Today, you are going to go on a 'virtual' fieldtrip to Mexico to see and learn about some of the customs associated with this special holiday. Please answer all the questions on your
worksheet from the sites that you will be going to during the course of
this virutal fieldtrip. After getting your copy of the student worksheet
page, click on Field Trip below to begin your trip to this holiday celebration.
